Visit Ocean Grove's Surf Club boasting wonderful beach views and providing informal dining. For the walking enthusiast embark on a beach walk from Point Lonsdale surf club to the Ocean Grove surf club. When the tide is out the rock pools and scenery are stunning. Ocean Grove provides a range of supermarkets, banks and is a one stop shop for the family's weekly shopping needs.

For the golfer the Point Lonsdale golf club is just around the corner, Swan Bay Golf Club at Queenscliff and both Creek & Ocean Courses at 13th Beach via Barwon Heads, a short trip away.

As you make your way to Point Lonsdale Accommodation, whether you arrive via Geelong, Portarlington, Ocean Grove or via the Queencliff Marina, you will find a stunning beach fronted village in Point Lonsdale, where all your immediate shopping needs are met. The consistently excellent restaurant called Kelp,also with great casual eats at both Pasquinis, Grow, Benito's Bakery, Point Pizza, and Couta's fish & chips. As you eat your fish and chips overlooking the entrance to the bay, enjoy seeing the Spirit of Tasmania ferry, a cargo ship or two and the famous orange pilot boat carrying out its daily task of seeing the big ships safely through the heads. The nearby Rip View car park provides the ideal spot to sit and watch the shipping departures and arrivals and if there aren't any, there is always Point Nepean to view across the water.
